Alex Magni is a professional Brazilian drummer, percussionist, music producer and is now living and performing in the UK. He graduated in Musicology which has given him the acquisition of a vast knowledge in drums, rhythms and percussion instruments, as well as technical and other musical skills. Alex has performed and recorded with plenty of artists in Brazil, Portugal and UK. He teaches drumset at higher level and is sponsored by Schalgwerk percussion instruments, Bosphorus cymbals and Aquarian Drumheads.
Alex is regularly performing and expressing himself on his “Percussion Live Acts” at bars, clubs, and at all kinds of venues and events. He uses a “high-end” percussion set-up and demonstrates skilful performances highlighting his great musicianship. Improvisation, explosive technique, and interaction with the audience makes each session a unique and new musical sensation which creates good vibrations everywhere he performs! Versatility is a term that summarises the work of this Brazilian musician.
