Julian Smith has been in constant international demand ever since his appearance on the 2009 series of Britain’s Got Talent, when 20 million people watched the final and saw him come 3rd with 700,000 votes, close behind Susan Boyle and Diversity.
With millions of YouTube hits, private performances, corporate events, high profile wedding engagements, theatre tours, cruise ship bookings and online performances, Julian has been very busy well for over a decade. He has also performed for Royalty including Prince Charles at Clarence House and had an invitation to perform for the Prime Minister at Number 10 Downing Street in London, England.
Julian has seven albums to his name and has recorded duets with the late great Acker Bilk, Dina Carroll and Blake, and has also toured as a guest with the legendary American soul band The Stylistics. Julian’s performance is a perfect way to open any event and surprise everyone with his incredible sound, which audiences often only realise is live when he surprises them and suddenly appears out of nowhere!
Whether it’s performing epic movie themes with accompanying video footage or just playing a simple sweet lullaby to create a romantic atmosphere, Julian’s music can have an enormous impact at the opening of any event. After a re-invention during the pandemic, Julian has put together new sets of Latin, Spanish and Salsa music to spice-up the occasion and put a smile on everyone’s face. He also regularly performs alongside DJs adding extra excitement to the dancefloor and keeping the party alive until the very end of the night!
